Where we are
Hotel Cesotta is located in Via Tommaso Cigliano 86, Forio, in the municipality of Forio on the west coast of the island where every day you can admire a wonderful sunset over the sea on the horizon.
Immersed in the tranquility of the beautiful bay of San Francesco, twenty meters from the beach of the same name, which can be accessed directly through a small private avenue, it is 1.5 km from the town center and the tourist port.
The Chiaia beach is also within walking distance (about 600 meters).
From our hotel you can easily reach the Thermal Parks and the various localities of the island by bus whose stop is 400 meters away or by taxi stationed at 100 meters.
by Train
From the Napoli Centrale station, in Piazza Garibaldi, it is possible to reach the boarding points of the port of Naples by bus, by purchasing the travel ticket inside the station. With taxis, the predetermined rate for the port of Naples is around ten euros. From the Mergellina station near the port of the same name, it is possible to embark for Ischia only by hydrofoil. From the Central Station of Naples you can reach the Mergellina boarding areas with the subway which is located within the same central station.
by Car
By car both Calata di Massa, in the port of Naples, and the port of Pozzuoli can be reached from the highway by taking the ring road. To reach the port of Naples from the highway, take the A1 motorway junction towards "Napoli - Porto" and take Via Marina until you reach the Calata di Massa gate. To reach the port of Pozzuoli from the highway, once you arrive at the Naples toll booth, continue for about 12 km and take the Tangenziale, direction Pozzuoli, go along the entire ring road and take the first exit after the "Via Campana" toll booth, from here follow the signs for the port. From the port of Pozzuoli it is possible to embark the car in tow for both Ischia Porto and the port of Casamicciola Terme. It is useful to know that from the Easter period and throughout the summer it is forbidden for non-residents to land on the island; the ordinance that is issued every year by the Ministry of Transport.
by Plane
From the Naples Capodichino airport you can reach the embarkation points of Calata di Massa and Molo Beverello, (about 800 meters from each other) by public transport or by taxi. An alibus shuttle bus directly connects the airport with the Port of Naples; the ticket can be purchased on board. By taxi it is preferable to ask for the predetermined rate, set by the municipal administration: for the port of Naples the cost is about 16 euros.
Boarding for Ischia
Ischia can be reached by hydrofoil (about 45 minutes) or by ferry (about 1 hour and 15). The embarkation points in the port of Naples are: Molo Beverello (from where only hydrofoils leave for Ischia porto, Casamicciola terme and Forio) and Calata di Massa (from where only ferries leave for Ischia port). From the port of Mergellina only hydrofoils leave for Ischia and Forio. From the port of Pozzuoli only ferries leave for Ischia and Casamicciola.
